Day 1 – Start your Spring adventure with a stress-free home pick up to the airport as we fly to London. (in-flight meals and beverages provided)

 

Day 2 - Upon arrival, enjoy a panoramic tour of London and discover the iconic landmarks, architectural and cultural diversity, and fascinating history that makes London the most visited city in the world. Your London sightseeing tour will take you on a non-stop precession of recognizable landmarks, including The Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Nelson’s Column, Marble Arch and much more before checking into our accommodations.

Day 3 - Visit the iconic Westminster Abbey, a Gothic masterpiece steeped in royal history since 1066. Enjoy a scenic River Thames cruise, passing landmarks like St. Paul’s Cathedral and Tower Bridge with entertaining commentary. End the day at the Tower of London, home to the Crown Jewels, Yeoman Warders, and centuries of intrigue before heading back to our hotel. (B)

Day 4 - This morning, depart London and head to Bristol, stopping at two iconic landmarks. Explore the mysteries of Stonehenge, a 5,000-year-old stone circle shrouded in fascinating theories, with an engaging visitor center to enhance your experience. Then, visit the Roman Baths, where ancient history comes to life with natural hot springs and impeccably preserved ruins. Continue to Bristol and check into your hotel. (B, D)

Day 5 - Today, take a day trip to Wales and visit The Royal Mint Experience, where you’ll learn about UK coin production and even strike your own coin as a keepsake. Enjoy free time for lunch in Cardiff, followed by a panoramic tour of the city, exploring highlights like Cardiff Castle, Llandaff Cathedral, and the vibrant Cardiff Bay area. Return to Bristol for your overnight stay. (B, D)

 

Day 6 - Depart Bristol and journey to Stratford-upon-Avon, passing through the stunning Cotswolds with a stop at the charming village of Castle Combe. After free time for lunch in Stratford-upon-Avon, visit Shakespeare’s Birthplace, where you’ll step into the Bard’s world with historic rooms, rare artifacts, and interactive exhibits. End your day with some rest and relaxation at our hotel in Stratford-upon-Avon. (B)

 

Day 7 - Depart Stratford-upon-Avon and travel to York, stopping at the magnificent Chatsworth House to explore its opulent halls, stunning art collection, and picturesque gardens. Continue through the Peak District National Park, taking in breathtaking views of rolling hills and moors, before arriving in York for your overnight stay. (B)

 

Day 8 - Enjoy a walking tour of York, exploring its rich history through medieval walls, the ruins of St. Mary’s Abbey, and the charming lanes of The Shambles. Visit the stunning York Minster, a Gothic masterpiece with over 800 years of history and interactive exhibits in its Undercroft. Spend the afternoon at leisure before attending the Saturday vigil at a local church in the evening. (B)

Day 9 - Depart York and journey to Edinburgh, stopping for free time and lunch in the charming village of Bamburgh. Visit the historic Bamburgh Castle, a coastal fortress with stunning collections of art, armor, and artifacts, offering a glimpse into its rich history as a royal stronghold. Continue to Edinburgh, where you'll check in for an overnight stay. (B)

Day 10 - Visit the Royal Yacht Britannia, a former royal residence that sailed over 1,000,000 nautical miles and is now one of the UK’s top attractions. Then, enjoy a panoramic city tour of Edinburgh, exploring its historic Old Town, elegant New Town, and iconic landmarks like Princes Street and Edinburgh Castle. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure. (B)

Day 11 - This morning, visit Stirling Castle, one of Scotland’s most impressive castles, steeped in history and offering views of key battlefields like Stirling Bridge and Bannockburn. After free time for lunch, tour a local whisky distillery (subject to availability) to learn about Scotland’s iconic spirit. Return to Edinburgh and enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant or pub. (B, D)

​Day 12 - Our travels through the UK have come to an end! Transfer to Edinburgh Airport for a smooth journey back to Chicago as we bid farewell. (B, in-flight meals)
